Listed is this beautiful Blue / White Antique Ginger Jar with beautiful light blue Asian graphics circling all the way around. This beautiful jar is in great condition with some staining on the side and lower rim base and hairline cracks on the rim, top and bottom of the lid..  Found recently in the last Victorian Dumpsite to be unearthed in London.

Ginger jars are depicted by their high-shoulders, rounded shapes, small mouths, and domed lids. Although they were originally used to store and transport spices, hence their name, the containers (which typically don’t include handles) have been used primarily as decorative objects since the 19th century.

Please consider the images as your best description for all of my items.

Pot may contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and being buried for decades and then being dug up and rescued.

I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
