This is a listing for one (1) Rare Fruitfield Varsity 2# Chubby Marmalade Pot, c. late 1800s. Made in Dublin, this pot is in great condition with lovely warm buttery patina throughout. There is light crazing on the outside with more darker crazing on the inside bottom along with a chip on the bottom rim. The upper rim has some dark pitting.
Please refer to the pictures as they are the best description for this rare charming pot.
These incredibly charming pots vary slightly in shape and size as each piece was handmade.
Pots usually contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value. Â These are expected due to age and use, and having often been buried for decades and are now being dug up and rescued.
Perfect to store plants, pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, or just to admire as one of a kind decor.
I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. Â I will credit any over payment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
