This is a listing for one EARLY (1) Boot’s Cold Cream Advertising Pot w/Base. This pot is in excellent shape with a beautiful dark transfer and no chips or cracks.

This particular version is one of the earliest lids seen from this company and dates from about 1883. The company name is shown with an apostrophe S, as at this time it was known as J. Boot & Co. Ltd. In 1888 it changed to Boots Pure Drug Co. Ltd. from which date the company name is shown in the plural.

Please consider the images as the best part of my description.

Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.

I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package.  I work hard to find the most economical shipping options available by checking multiple discount carriers.

I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option. I check both and for the most economical delivery to save you shipping dollars. These companies negotiate better rates with USPS, Fed Ex and UPS than individuals can on their own.
