This Rare Mini Sample Sized (also served with scones on dining cars) James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade pot. These little mini antique pots are rare in that they don’t usually survive being dug up at sites.
I also purchased this rare little pot at the huge National Collectors Show in Elsecar. It’s in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Note some crazing and coloring adding to is beautiful patina along with one small hairline that does not go all the way through the pot, not affecting its display value. Looks darling loaded with toothpicks or a single stem.
Pot Reads:
Each of these charming pots vary slightly in shape and size as they were each handmade.
Please consider the images as your best description for all of my items.
All pots typically contain crazing , spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabits that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and being buried for decades and then being dug up and rescued.
I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I work hard to find the most economical shipping options available by checking multiple discount carriers.
