Offering this S.A. Crozier Confectioner, Potted Shrimps, Lytham pot. Around the turn of the century, (late 1800s to early 1900s) this charming pot held brown shrimps only found on a few areas of the British coastline; Lytham being one of those seaside towns where brown shrimp was abundant in the northwest part of England..  This is the actual pot that you will receive.  It reads:

S.A. CROZIER, Confectioner,

5. Park Street, LYTHAM.

This pot has a small chip on the upper rim along with a crack extending from the rim down… overall, in great condition.  Please consider the images as the best part of my description.

Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered additions to character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
