This is a listing for one (1) RARE Scottish Alexander Cairns & Sons – Seville Marmalade – 2# Marmalade Pot.
GUARANTEED ABSOLUTELY PURE
ESTABLISHED 1848 PAISLEY, SCOTLAND
The black transfer is slightly blurred and one hairline crack, not visible when on display. There are a few chips also not visible from the front when displayed. Please refer to the pictures as they are the best description for this rare charming pot.
This particular size is a rare variety, curated from my travels to England’s Famed Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London.
Pots usually contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use as they were often buried for decades and now are being dug up and rescued.
Perfect to store plants, pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, or just to admire as one of a kind decor.
