This is a listing for one (1) Scottish Alexander Cairns & Sons – Seville Marmalade – 1# Marmalade Pot.
GUARANTEED ABSOLUTELY PURE
ESTABLISHED 1848 PAISLEY, SCOTLAND
This Scottish pot has excellent dark black transfer. There are no chips but it does have a crack that runs through it. The bottom reads S Maling K Newcastle. Please refer to the pictures as they are the best description for this charming pot.
This pot was curated from my travels to England’s Famed Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London.
Pots usually contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use as they were often buried for decades and now are being dug up and rescued.
Perfect to store plants, pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, or just to admire as one of a kind decor.
