This listing is for (1) French Moutarde Dijon Grey-Poupon Medium sized pot with a lid, which having a lid is seldom found. It has beautiful decorative transfers on both sides and the lid, with transferred Digoin & Sarreguemines crest on base. c. 1875. The pot is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks or age coloration.
A beautiful white pot with clear black transfer lettering, it has very ornate labeling, which makes it one of my favorites. This is a medium size at 4.5″ tall with a base diameter of 2.5″ and mouth opening of 1 3/4.” The lid makes this pot different and an attention grabber in your collection.
Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
Returns are not excepted on these rare authentic pieces but please contact if you have any questions.
