FELIX POTIN

PARIS

Beautiful Turquoise Transfer Design – One of several Rare Pots curated on my last trip to England.  The pot has a chip on the upper and lower rim as well as inside bottom, but overall in very nice condition.

Please consider the images as the best part of my description.

Some history of  Felix Potin Brand:

Félix Potin, the French Godfather of modern grocery shops, opened his first shop at 28 rue Coquenard in Paris in 1844, at the age of just 24. … In 1860, he opened the first two-level, large-area retailer on the Boulevard de Sébastopol in Paris. The following year he constructed a Félix Potin factory in La Villette, in the northern outskirts of Paris.  He went on to become a pioneer of modern mass distribution and an extraordinary success story, with a company that lasted for over 100 years.  This pot will have contained some kind of sweet confection.

This wonderfully charming pot is the perfect choice to enhance your advertising pot collection or the perfect piece to start your new collection.

Most pots have some level of crazing , may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.

Perfect to store pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, plants or anything you can imagine.

I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package.
