This is a listing for one (1)  Rare James Keiller & Son’s Dundee Marmalade 3#  Pot c. 1898.   This pot is character filled and in stable condition with lots of age related crazing and staining along with several stable hairline cracks as pictured.  Maling – Newcastle On Tyne  – K – 921 is incised in the base. Please view all images for exact condition.

Each pot was handmade between 1860 and 1960 to store award-winning Marmalade.  These wonderful advertising pots vary slightly in shape and size, which lends to the character and desirability.  Most pots will most likely contain crazing, varying spots of discoloration, minor hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character, and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected blemishes due to age, use, and being buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
