GRAND MEDAL OF MERIT VIENNA 1873

JAMES KEILLER & SON’S

DUNDEE

MARMALADE

ONLY PRIZE MEDAL FOR MARMALADE

LONDON, 1862

Each of these charming pots was hand made between 1860 and 1920 to store prize winning Marmalade.  This particular size is a very rare variety with a rolled top/shoulder, not usually found in the United States, curated from my travels to England’s Famed Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London. This pot is in very good condition with a beautiful clean patina; beautiful overall with a couple hairline cracks on the sides as pictured. These incredibly charming pots vary slightly in shape and size as each piece was handmade.  This will be a rare addition to your collection!

Pots usually contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, and use, as they were often buried for decades and are now being dug up and rescued.

Perfect to store pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, or just to admire as one of a kind decor.

I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package.  I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
