This is a listing for one (1) Woods CHERRY 6d Tooth Paste Lidded Pot with Base. Beautiful Red Print making this a rare version of the famous Proprietor, W. Woods, Chemist – Plymouth Tooth Paste. For removing Tartar and whitening the teeth.
This ancient pot was curated during a recent trip to England’s Famous Antique Markets. This pot dates late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The lid is in very good age based condition with a few minor chips on the backside, no cracks, and some very minor fade to the print in the middle. The base is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures: 1 1/2” high x 2 1/2” diameter

Every pot have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
