This is a listing for one (1) Woods CHERRY 6d Tooth Paste Lidded Pot with Base. Beautiful Red Print making this a rare version of the famous Proprietor, W. Woods, Chemist – Plymouth Tooth Paste. For removing Tartar and whitening the teeth without injuring the enamel.
I began curating these pots during my travels to England’s Famous Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London. This pot dates to the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The lid is in good condition with a strong red transfer, with one minor chip on the inside rim. The base is in good condition with two chips on the inside rim that is covered by the lid and one minor hairline crack.
Measures: 1 1/2” high x 2 1/2” diameter
Please consider the images as the best part of my description.
Every pot have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
Returns are not accepted on these rare antique pieces, but let me know if you have questions.
