Measures approximately 3” diameter x 1 1/2″ tall with lid.
This is a listing for one (1) Art Nouveau Rowland’s Otto of Rose Cold Cream, Lewis & Burrows Ltd, London, Lidded Pot w/ Base. The lid is in great condition with a lovely patina of crazing and darker coloring. There is some barely noticeable slight staining. The base, in fair condition, has beautiful darker crazing inside and out. There is some chipping (larger on the bottom outside rim, smaller on the inside rim). Displays beautifully. The other items in photos are for display only and to give you ideas for displaying in your home.
Please consider the images as the best part of my description.
This ancient pot was curated during my travels to England’s Famous Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London. Dates late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
