Offering this Rare what I believe to be a SLIDEWELL COLLARS Antique Match Striker. This is a plain white ironstone pub match striker with the transferred words SLIDEWELL COLLARS. A rare and fun piece to add to your Antique Advertising Collection. The match strikers were a mainstay in English pubs holding the matches upright and struck along the rough sides or top of the piece.
The other items in photos are for display only and to give ideas for displaying in your home.
Please consider the images as the best part of my description.
Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
