This listing is for (1) heavily crazed Antique English Advertising Lidded Pot w/ Transfer Printed Base and Plain Lid. The front transfer reads:

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, Squire and Sons operated as chemists and druggists in London. Peter Squire, known as “Her Majesty’s Chemist,” led the business, which served the Royal Family for over fifty years. 

As seen in the images, this pot is in good condition and has some chips on the inside rim of the base which is covered up by the lid, and no cracks on either the lid or base. Crazed and a lot of colored staining from years of burial, character filled and shows well. Please consider the images as the best part of my description.

Measures: 1 3/4” tall and 3 1/4” diameter

Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.

Returns are not accepted on these rare antique pieces.
