This is a listing for one (1) Atkinson’s Rose Cold Cream Lidded Pot w/ Base. The lid is in excellent condition with no chips and a very minor hairline crack on the inside. The base, also in great condition, has some lovely darker crazing on the bottom and sides along with a hairline crack on one side. Displays beautifully. The other items in photos are for display only and to give you ideas for displaying in your home.
Measures approximately 2 1/2” diameter x 1 5/8″ tall with lid.
Please consider the images as the best part of my description.
This ancient pot was curated during my travels to England’s Famous Antique Markets while visiting my daughter and her family in London. Dates late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
