This is a listing for one (1) French Foie Gras Lidded Pot c 1890.  I will select one pot from my current inventory.  This darling creamy colored antique crock/pot with lion faces on each side and ornate finial on top would have been the container for the rich, buttery and delicate duck or goose liver pate.

The other items in photos are for display only and to give ideas for displaying in your home.

This ancient pot was curated during my travels to France.  My friend living in Senlis, France uses this cute pot as a butter holder in her kitchen!  So sweet.

Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered additions to character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
