Poulton & Noel operated in London from the mid-1800s into the early 1900s and catered to wealthy clientele, particularly in:

The term “Belgravian” was deliberate marketing — it signaled elite social status, not a recipe style.
This little white ironstone pot with black transfer on both front and back of the pot is in great condition. Shows as a lovely display. This pot dates to c. 1890.

Measures: 3 1/2” tall x 2” diameter base x 1 1/2” opening.
Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use, and let’s not forget, they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
