Offering one (1) rare Mrs. Moor 8 Neville St., Southport Antique English Advertising Crock. This charming small white ironstone dish features a black transfer print reading:
“Mrs Moor – 8 Neville St – Southport.”
Pieces like this were used in cafés, tea rooms, and boarding houses in the early 20th century. Businesses often commissioned custom printed crockery both for branding and to discourage theft. These small dishes were typically used for puddings, butter, jams, or individual baked dishes.
This pot is in great condition with a few flea bites primarily on the bottom, and no cracks or chips. Please consider the images as the best part of my description. Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered additions to character and do not detract from its display value. These are expected due to age, use and being buried for decades before being dug up.
Returns are not excepted on these rare authentic pieces but please contact if you have any questions.
