This is a listing for one (1) James Keiller 1# Chubby Marmalade Pot c. 1885. This pot is in very good age appropriate condition, with one chip on the bottom left base and great crazing throughout that gives it character. You will receive this exact pot with its beautiful black transfer. Please view all images for exact condition.
Each pot was handmade between 1860 and 1960 to store award-winning Marmalade. These wonderful advertising pots vary slightly in shape and size, which lends to the character and desirability. Most pots will most likely contain crazing, varying spots of discoloration, minor hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character, and do not detract from its display value. These are expected blemishes due to age, use, and being buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.
