This particular James Keiller & Son’s Dundee Marmalade pot is a rare pot from the 1860’s that I picked up at my favorite London Antique Market. Note that the label is fuller and only the International Exhibition 1862 is printed at the top and  The only Prize Medal Awarded for Marmalade is printed on base of this pot.  This chubby size ancient pot is a rare find. It is in excellent condition for its age, with only a few hairline cracks toward the top and a small chip at upper lip of pot and at the bottom. There is also a nice chip repair done to the back of this pot.

Each of these charming pots vary slightly in shape and size as they were each handmade.

Please consider the images as your best description for all of my items.

Pot may contain crazing , spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabits that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and being buried for decades and then being dug up and rescued.

Perfect to store pens, flatware, paintbrushes, candles, cotton balls, or just to admire as one of a kind decor.
