Listed is a darling mini  Colman’s D*S*F Mustard Jar made by the Stourbridge DG Ware.  Made in England with an ironstone insert and metal rim.  I have never seen this sweet pot until this last visit to England at my favorite market.

Colman’s has been making mustard for over 200 years. It was founded by Jeremiah Colman, a flour miller, in 1814 at Stoke Holy Cross, near Norwich. In 1823, Jeremiah and his adopted nephew James established J&J Colman. In 1858, Jeremiah Colman’s great nephew, Jeremiah James Colman, established the production factory in Norwich.

The Colman’s Mustard Shop and Museum was originally opened in 1973 to commemorate 150 years of J&J Colman’s making mustard. It moved from Bridewell Alley into the Royal Arcade in 1999.

Each of these charming pots vary slightly in shape and size as they were each handmade.

Please consider the images as your best description for all of my items.

Pot may contain crazing, spots of discoloration, hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that only add to its character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and being buried for decades and then being dug up and rescued.
