Charming small French stoneware confit or preserving pot featuring a rich chestnut-brown glaze, twin applied handles, and traditional wheel-thrown construction.
This utilitarian vessel has wonderful rustic character. The brown glaze varies beautifully from warm caramel and chestnut to deeper brown tones.
The interior is glazed, while the underside remains unglazed. It would be lovely displayed with a collection of French pottery, on open kitchen shelving, or incorporated into rustic farmhouse or French country decor.
