English Ironstone Broody Dummy Chicken Eggs – c.1910 – Sold Separately — I will select one egg from the group of eggs pictured.  Overall very good condition, some of these Eggs do show signs of age, scratches and areas of discoloration .  These eggs were recently dug in England at a  dumpsite dated c.1900-1915.   I love these eggs and usually hoard them and enjoy displaying with my ironstone collection until I have gathered a large amount so I can share with you!

I hope you love these eggs as much as I do.  Darling displayed alone or in large groups.  Enjoy!

These eggs were used to encourage hens to produce more eggs.  If there is an egg or two in the nest, the hens can’t tell that their morning deposit went missing by noon. Therefore the hens are less likely to change nest locations to fool an egg predator.

All purchases will be combined into one package to save on shipping costs.  I will credit any overpayment once final shipping cost is calculated.
