This is a listing for one (1) R.R. Shields Violin Resin Holder. This unique violin memorabilia was made by R.R. Shields of Manchester and has a registration number 126381, which dates to approximately 1879.  It reads: Use Sparingly for Violins. Dry Your Strings and Use Infallible Oil. Would make a great addition to your Advertising Pot Collection or for any music enthusiast!

This unique piece is in good condition with dark transfer with a small chip at front top and another on inner side of one edge, but  overall has a lovely patina.  Please consider the images as the best part of my description.

Most pots have some level of crazing, may have spots of discoloration, light hairline cracks and minor chips and fleabites that should be considered patina, additions to character and do not detract from its display value.  These are expected due to age, use and let’s not forget they were often buried for decades before being dug up and rescued.

I offer substantial savings in shipping costs when multiple items are combined into one package. I will credit any overpayment of postage charged to you after finding the best shipping option.
